These terms apply to the TinyPresso macOS application and to this website. By using either, you agree to them.

License

TinyPresso is licensed, not sold, to you for personal or business use on Apple devices that you own or control. When the app is distributed through the Mac App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Purchases & subscriptions

• Free core, paid extras. TinyPresso is free to use. Extended abilities can be unlocked with either an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase — both offered as in-app purchases through the Mac App Store.
• Billing by Apple. All payments are processed and managed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's Terms of Use (EULA) apply to every purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling. You can cancel anytime in your Apple Account's subscription settings (System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or the App Store app). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• One-time purchase. The one-time purchase permanently unlocks the same extended abilities for your Apple Account, with no recurring charges.
• Refunds. Because Apple handles billing, refunds are granted by Apple under its policies — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Changes. Prices and what's included in the free and paid tiers may change over time; changes to an active subscription's price take effect only as allowed by App Store rules, with notice from Apple.

Your files

• You keep full ownership of, and responsibility for, the images you process with TinyPresso.
• Compression is lossy by design: compressed copies may differ from the originals at the pixel level. The optional "Move originals to Trash" feature moves files to the macOS Trash, from which they can be recovered — but you are responsible for keeping backups of important files.
• You agree not to use the app or this website for anything unlawful.

No warranty

TinyPresso and this website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee any particular compression ratio, processing speed, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of data or files — arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app or this website.

Changes

We may update the app, this website, or these terms at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page with an updated date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
